Ladakh, 20 July 2025:
In a heartfelt tribute and celebrations ahead of the 26th anniversary of Kargil vijay diwas, to the indomitable spirit of India’s war heroes and their families, the Stalkers Battalion of the Ladakh Scouts, under the aegis of Siachen warriors brigade and Fire and Fury Corps, organised a Veer Nari and Veer Mata Meet at Pratap Pur in Nubra Valley. The solemn event was dedicated to honouring and felicitating the courageous women of the region whose husbands and sons laid down their lives in service of the nation.
The gathering provided an interactive platform to address the civil and legal grievances of Veer Naris, ensuring continued support for their welfare and empowerment. Senior military officials expressed solidarity and assured unwavering assistance to the families of the fallen soldiers.
