Aligning with Indian Army’s goals for ‘Year of Networking & Data centricity’, Lt Gen Harsh Chhibber, DGIS visited various tech innovation hubs in Chennai. He interacted with the leadership at IIT Madras, IITM Pravartak Tech and M/s Zoho. Productive engagements focused on innovation in age of AI and reducing reliance on foreign OEMs for core applications to meet future operational challenges.
The visit will strengthen the focus on Jointness, Aatmanirbharta (Self-reliance), and Innovation (JAI ) promoting indigenous defence systems for technology-driven and future-ready Indian Army.
