Russia's People of Peace Exhibition in Delhi Crimea Day Special Explained

The Russian House in New Delhi hosted the grand opening of the “People of Peace” photo exhibition, timed to coincide with Crimea’s Reunification Day with Russia. The exhibition has become an important platform for developing humanitarian dialogue and promoting universal human values.
Mr. Roman Babushkin, Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in India; Dr. Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India; and Mr. Rayan Farkushin, Representative of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in India, addressed the guests with welcoming remarks.
The exhibition aims to highlight ordinary people, their values, and their moral choices, which are rooted in self-sacrifice, valor, nobility, and love. The works on display convey sincere emotions and emphasize the importance of human solidarity across borders and cultures.
The program continued with a screening of Sergey Debizhev’s film “Celestial Tavrida.” The film reveals the spiritual and cultural significance of Crimea, combining documentary footage, philosophical reflections, and expressive images of nature and historical heritage. It explores themes of inner quest, faith, and historical memory, creating a holistic artistic image of the region.
The exhibition was prepared and presented as a special project by the Donetsk News Agency, the Zaporozhye News Agency, the Lugansk Media Center, and the Kherson News Agency.
