On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Rashtriya Geet “Vande Mataram” the Indian Army is organising Military Band performances at prominent public locations across the country from 19 to 26 January 2026. The initiative aims to honour the historical and emotional significance of the national song while fostering a spirit of patriotism and unity through dignified public performances.
As part of the nationwide programme, band displays will be conducted at following locations across various Commands: –

A special performance by Army Symphony Band has been scheduled at India Gate, New Delhi, on 18 January 2026.
Each performance will be of approximately 45 minutes’ duration, scheduled between 2 to 5 PM.
